Embodied Art & Performance making is a creative and playful way to enhance and reinforce our ability of full presence, aliveness and connection to our sense of self and the world.
Our aim is the free flow of creativity and personal expression which leads to physical & mental wellbeing, and inspirational performance in our daily life.
This is achieved through applying therapeutic and artistic methods of physically embodying/experiencing our emotional-intellectual-spiritual states of being, before we use a variety of art materials and interdisciplinary performance tools to give physical form to our experiences of inhabiting our body-minds and the world.
We will explore through: Installation, Sculpture/Drawing, Performance, Contact Improvisation (CI), Videodance, Movement based Performance, Body-Mind Centering®, and Autoethnography/AutoBiology based practices by: Tamy Spry and the Performance Company Curious (Leslie Hill & Helen Paris)
